Finalmente, Kinsey se citó con Garry Steinberg (el que fue jefe de Libby), pero no le contó nada interesante y que sirviera de ayuda en la investigación.
Esta misma noche, Kinsey fue a casa de la familia Glass, porque quería ver los objetos personales de Libby. La señora Glass la acompañó al sótano. Cuando abrieron la puerta del trastero, alguien les disparó desde la calle, la bombilla de la habitación estalló. Kinsey corrió hacia su coche para sacar su pistola, pero vio como otro coche se alejaba a toda velocidad de la casa.
Kinsey metió todas las cosas de Libby en el coche y se las llevó para revisarlas en el motel. No encontró nada interesante, excepto una carta que Laurence le escribió a Libby, diciéndola que la amaba pero que no podía abandonar a su familia. Kinsey sospechó que esa carta no la escribió él, porque Laurence llamaba a Libby por su verdadero nombre (Elizabeth), y eso sólo lo hacían los padres de ella.
Después, estuvo pensando en qué sería lo que Sharon iba a decirla la noche en que murió. Tenía que ser algo importante; tal vez algo sobre el asesino de Laurence y Libby. Y en ese momento, se acordó de Nikki: tal vez ella no fuera inocente. Quizás ella mató a Laurence y a Libby y, por alguna razón, también quería matar a Sharon. Pero, al no saber dónde podría encontrarla, contrató a Kinsey para que diera con ella.

Finally, Kinsey met Garry Steinberg (Libby’s boss), but he didn’t tell anything interesting about her.
That night, Kinsey went to family Glass’ house, because she wanted to see Libby’s personal things. Mrs Glass guided her to the basement. When we opened the door, somebody shot them from the street. Kinsey ran to her car to take her gun, but it was too late: a car went very fast.
Kinsey took Libby’s things, because she wanted to see them in the motel. She didn’t find anything special, except a letter write by Laurence to Libby. In it, he told her that he loved her, but she couldn’t leave his family. Kinsey suspected that Laurence didn’t write the letter, because he called Libby with her real name (Elizabeth), and her parents are the ones that did it.
She thought about what would be the thing that Sharon was going to tell her the night she died. It would be very important, probably about Laurence and Libby’s murderer. In that moment, she remembered Nikki: maybe she wasn’t me innocent. Maybe she killed Laurence and Libby and, for an unknown reason, she wanted to kill Sharon too. But Nikki couldn’t know where Sharon lived, so she contracted Kinsey to discover it.
