RESUMEN
Al día siguiente, antes de volver a Santa Teresa, Kinsey devolvió las cosas de Libby a su madre, menos la carta de Laurence.
Visitó a Nikki para contarla las cosas que había averiguado en el viaje a Las Vegas. Decidió no tener secretos con ella, pero tampoco la iba a decir que sospechaba de su inocencia. La enseñó la carta de su marido y Nikki reconoció la letra de Laurence.
Kinsey conoció a Colin y le dio el álbum de fotos que Diane le dio para él. Colin vio una foto donde aparecía Gwen. Gesticulando con las manos, la preguntó a Nikki si esa mujer era su abuela, es decir, la madre de Laurence. Kinsey y Nikki se sorprendieron ante esa pregunta. Kinsey le explicó que esa mujer era la madre de Greg y Diane, pero no su abuela. A Kinsey le resultó sospechoso.
Cuando volvió a su casa, Charlie Scorsoni (el compañero de trabajo de Laurence) la estaba esperando. Fueron a cenar, pero no hablaron sobre la investigación. Después se acostaron juntos.
A la mañana siguiente, Scorsoni ya se había ido de casa de Kinsey cuando ésta se despertó. Kinsey fue a la comisaría de policía para hablar con Lieutenant Dolan. Quería enseñarle la carta para ver si podía sacar de ella huellas dactilares. Antes de que se marchara, Dolan la preguntó si estuvo en Las Vegas cuando murió Sharon Napier. Kinsey mintió diciendo que solamente fue a visitar a Greg, Diane y a la familia de Libby.

Before she returned to Santa Teresa, Kinsey went to family Glass’ house to give Libby’s things, but not the letter.
Then, she visited Nikki to tell her all the things that she discovered in the travel. Kinsey decided not to hade secrets with Nikki, but she wouldn’t tell Nikki her suspicions about her innocence. Kinsey met Colin and gave him the photo album that Diane gave her to him. Olin saw a photo where appeared Gwen and, with his fingers, asked to Nikki if that woman was his grandmother (Laurence’s mother). Kinsey and Nikki were very surprised, and Nikki told him that the woman was Greg and Diane’s mother, but not his grandmother. Kinsey started to suspect about that.
When Kinsey returned to her house, Charlie Scorsoni (Laurence’s workmate) was waiting her. They went to have dinner but they didn’t talk about the investigation. Then, they had sex.
In the next morning, Scorsoni was gone when Kinsey woke up. She went to the police department to talk with Lieutenant Dolan. She gave him the letter, because she wanted to know if the letter had fingerprints. Before she went, Dolan asked her if she was in Las Vegas when Sharon Napier died. Kinsey lied and told him that she only went to visit Greg, Diane and Libby’s parents.

1. Why does Kinsey want to check the letter for fingerprints? Because if the letter has too many Nikki’s fingerprints, it is possible that Laurence didn’t write that letter.
